STG Cottbus on the evening of 28th June was awarded at the state chancellery of Potsdam.
On the occasion of 20 years anniversary of the State Brandenburg it´s Prime Minister Matthias Platzeck had asked a selection committee to choose seven companies to be honored representatively for the economy of the Eastern German state.
So among other, the about 200 guests were informed on the remarkable success story of the Southern Brandenburg situated company during the last 20 years:
Being launched as a start-up of 3 - even before the day of the currency reunion in 1990, STG today has become a worldwide accepted specialist, providing Combustion Control to the Glass Industry , e.g. Process Control, Measuring equipment and Heating technologies, with more than 50 employees. Nevertheless the success story of STG is also based on a continously grown cooperation with SIEMENS at implementation of Furnace Control systems. STG award presentator Dr. Sawatzki from SIEMENS A&D Berlin with his laudatio in Potsdam laid a stress on this excellence partnership between both companies. Many thanks for your warm words!
The conclusion of Mr. Platzeck on this evening is standing symbolically for 20 years of economic development both for the regional economy and the history of STG as well: „Economy of Brandenburg since 1990 has learned, risked and won a lot as well. Our land has learned successfully to manage it´s businesses in a sustainable and economic way."

On April, 9th STG celebrated it´s 20th anniversary. Once again: "Thank you very much" to all our guests and friends for joining us, your congratulations, presents and "greening" donations as well for the many warm discussions we had with you on that day. STG Cottbus would like to thank all it´s old and new friends that met us at our booth at latest Glasspex in Delhi. We had a lot of nice discussions with you and hope to have given you a good overview of latest developments in Combustion Control. But you can also meet us at upcoming events. Naturally, as a German supplier, STG will attend the 2010 Glasstec in Duesseldorf - but we are also planning to be back in India with the next Glasspex, announced to take place in Mumbai, January 2011.

STG will attend the 1st Glasspex India, taking place in Delhi from 2nd until 4th of December, 2009. STG representative for India, Ceracon Engineers, will join us, to answer any questions you may have.

Using the “Siemens Solution Partner” name,selected system integrators act as solution providers, qualified to a uniform global standard, for the Siemens range of products and services in the fields of automation, power distribution and product lifecycle management.

As a long time experienced specialist for the Glass Industry , having been the system integrator in more than 70 SIEMENS projects (about 40 Float Glass and 30 Container Glass applications), STG Cottbus for SIEMENS was the first choice to sign the supplementary contract for a „Solution Partner Industry“. STG´s unique body of acquired knowledge, continuously grown since 1990, constitutes the German company´s world leading position for Hot End Automation of glass melting furnaces with SIEMENS Technology.

STG would like to thank all its visitors at latest "glasstec".
With a brand new booth the freshly awarded "SIEMENS Industry Partner Glass" presented its latest developments at the fair halls in Duesseldorf. Sharing the booth with Czech based Glass Service Inc., both companies presented the results of their cooperation that was established in 2007 for gas and oil firing technologies, using the name "FlammaTec® Combustion Technologies". The well proven STG DeNOx burner family for underport firing from now on is enlarged by burners applicable for other furnace designs also. These new developments follow the same principle that STG Free Jet burners are working: a low turbulent combustion, in order to realise energy savings and NOx reduction.

STG´s new office in Alpharetta/ Roswell (USA) has openend up on 6th of July 2007. Customers from Northern America from now on have a close-by partner for their questions to Energy savings, NOx reduction and Process Control within the glass industry. STG and Glass Service, Vsetín (Czechia) combine their forces and Know How by a jointly developing of new combustion technologies for regenerative furnaces in the new established company "FlammaTec".
