The more exact and the more reliable the measurement of remaining oxygen in flue gas, the closer the furnace may be operated to low stochiometric optimum without safety excess air, taking energy and causing NOx.

Primarily oxygen sensors were believed to have a service life as short as of  a few months only. It was unthinkable then to take their signal as a base for any automatic control. As a result of persistant systematic innovations, as a result of the experiences of our practical service personnel, STG now is in shape to offer you a lambda sensor with a one year warranty, but expecting a service life of 3 to 4 years, best results even reached up to 9 years.
